The Kiddo! Endowment for the Arts was created to establish a legacy for future generations of students.
In 1986, upon the sale of a real estate donation, Kiddo! established the Kiddo! Endowment Fund with the aim of providing a source of secure funding for Kiddo! programs. The fund has grown since then to its current value of close to $5 million. Since the fund’s creation, proceeds have been used to fund ongoing programs and seed promising new initiatives. This year’s endowment income will support more than $170,000 of Kiddo! programs. In 2013, in honor of retiring Kiddo! founder Trisha Garlock’s dedication to ensuring the arts for Mill Valley students, the Kiddo! Endowment was formally renamed The Kiddo! Endowment for the Arts. The refocused endowment will bring Trisha’s dream of secure and perpetual funding for the arts closer to reality.
You can help fulfill this dream by making a gift to the endowment. Your contribution will help to sustain Kiddo!’s exemplary arts programs that strengthen the education of every child in our schools, and honor Trisha’s incredible work over the past 32 years.
